BH iLYNX RACE 7.7 Review

The gentle power delivery is a clear character of the BHZ, 65Nm. With 65 Nm torque, the support on the hill is rather moderate. The natural motor control of the BHZ, 65Nm shapes the riding feel of the iLYNX RACE 7.7. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

Carbon is considered a premium material in the bike industry. In the price range about 65€, aluminium is usually the frame material used. With the carbon frame, BH can clearly differentiate itself from many competitors. The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Maxxis tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, BH has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, BH uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.
