Bulls Aminga EVA TR 2 27.5” Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Also seemingly hopeless ramps the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445, the short chainstay and, if the Reach's Relative Rating is less than 3, the relatively short reach characterise the Bulls as a playful, agile bike. This makes it easy to navigate through winding trails. The 27.5 inch wheels additionally emphasize the playful character. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.
