With an integrated saddle clamp and a USB charging port on the top tube, the Neuron:ON 7 has two unique selling points that help it stand out from the crowd.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a natural feeling while riding with a gentle power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Neuron:ON 7 with only an average range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Canyon Neuron:ON 7 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. At the brakes, Canyon middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Canyon does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Canyon Neuron:ON 7

The Neuron:ON 7 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a mediocre chassis and a middle ground brake system, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. The generous warranty of 6 years proves that Canyon stands behind its products.
