Centurion No Pogo F800i Review

In the automotive and motorcycle world, Japan has always had a reputation for being a breeding ground for excellent engines. Shimano is doing its utmost to live up to this reputation in the e-bike world with the EP600 engine. Even nasty steep sections are effortlessly climbed by the motor. The Shimano EP600 conveys a riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the No Pogo F800i with only an average range.

The low-grade chassis transfers shocks relatively clearly to the biker. The mid-range brakes from Tektro do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The components and the shifting seem less important for Centurion. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. When it comes to the geometry, Centurion does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. The view of the weight of 25,6 kg reveals: There are lighter All Mountains.
