The single-jointed rear end and the simple tube shapes reveal: the G Trail 1.0 had one goal in mind above all: not to strain the customer's wallet too much.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak Yamaha motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Yamaha PW-ST gives off a natural riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the G Trail 1.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. At the brakes, GASGAS middle class two pistons brakes by Tektro are used. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, GASGAS uses average parts. High Reach values are in full trend. So, the G Trail 1.0 has an on-trend geometry. However, the bike requires a courageous body effort to hit the lines in the singletrail. For less experienced riders, this is often unfamiliar.

Value for money

Conclusion

Expirience with the GASGAS G Trail 1.0

With a simple chassis and a weak range, the G Trail 1.0 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities.
