Giant STANCE E+ 2 Review

In steep sections the somewhat low torque Giant motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Giant SyncDrive Sport provides a natural riding experience. The power delivery is always dynamic. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the STANCE E+ 2 with only an average range.

On rough terrain, the STANCE E+ 2 with its mediocre SR Suntour chassis lacks bit of control. The mid-range brakes from Tektro do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The components and the shifting seem less important for Giant. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. With weight, the STANCE E+ 2 is generally one of the heavier e-bikes on the market.
