Voluminous frame, big battery and powerful motor: The TRANCE X E+ 3 is a classic e-mountain bike, as it should be. The difference between the aluminium and the higher-quality carbon frame is hardly noticeable at first glance.
The Giant motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The natural riding feeling combines the Giant SyncDrive Pro2 with a dynamic power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the TRANCE X E+ 3 with only an average range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Giant TRANCE X E+ 3 [29"/PRO/625WH] in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

On rough terrain, the TRANCE X E+ 3 with its average Rock Shox chassis lacks bit of control. Especially for heavy riders, the Giant brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The components and the shifting seem less important for Giant. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Giant TRANCE X E+ 3 [29″/PRO/625WH]

With a poor chassis and a weak groupset, the TRANCE X E+ 3 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a good motor and a good geometry. With 25 years of guarantee, nothing can go wrong in the long run.
