Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

Rough descents take the good SR Suntour fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. Especially for heavy riders, the KTM brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Schwalbe tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, KTM has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, KTM uses good equipment. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.
