Maxx RACEMAXX ELF – FAZUA RIDE 60 Review

Even steep ramps are surprisingly easy to climb with the Fazua motor. With its boost function, which provides 450 watts of support for a short period of time, the Fazua Ride 60 reduces the gap between light and classic full-power motors. At the moment, hardly any other light motor offers such a good combination of natural support, dynamic power delivery and capability. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the RACEMAXX ELF - FAZUA RIDE 60 with only an average range.

The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. Especially for heavy riders, the Maxx brakes could be a problem. With two pistons they only decelerate averagely. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Schwalbe tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, Maxx has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Maxx uses good equipment. On winding trails, the playful handling comes to the fore, as the bike masters even the fastest direction changes with the short wheelbase and the relatively short reach playfully. The 27.5 inch wheels additionally emphasize the playful character. Furthermore, the bike lies excellent on the trail thanks to its low bottom bracket and thus low centre of gravity. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Maxx doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
