Simplon Sengo PMax Deore-10 LG Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Even steep uphills the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Sengo PMax Deore-10 LG with only an average range.

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 6000€. With the carbon fibre chassis, Simplon thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. The mid-range brakes from SRAM do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Simplon uses very good parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails.
