Bulls Copperhead EVO 2 29” Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

The good SR Suntour fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. In descending situations, the Tektro brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the biker. With two pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. When it comes to the geometry, Bulls does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability.
