Rose Bonero Plus 3 Review

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very natural riding experience. The power delivery is always gentle. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Bonero Plus 3 , because of its low range.

In the about 6000€ price range, most manufacturers use aluminium as the frame material. With a carbon frame, Rose turns the weight screw and sets itself apart from the competitors. Riding according to the category, the excellent fork brand suspension fork provides a smooth ride. Especially for heavy riders, the Rose brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Rose leaves almost no wishes open and only uses extremely good parts. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Rose with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain. With its slim weight, the Bonero Plus 3 is one of the lightest EMTBs. If the crankset stands still during the descent, the motor and battery become an unnecessary burden. But Rose manages to give the Bonero Plus 3 a natural, smooth handling despite this, with a very pleasing geometry and low weight. Only very few manufacturers manage to create the illusion of a MTB without motor in the EMTB genre. Hats off!
