Ghost E-ASX 130 Universal Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very natural riding feeling and a progressive power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Fans of XXL tours will be happy with the E-ASX 130 Universal due to ist excellent range.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. Especially for heavy riders, the Ghost brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.
