Ghost E-Riot AM Essential Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the E-Riot AM Essential with only an average range.

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. The mid-range brakes from Tektro do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Ghost uses average parts. The reach - or rather the main frame - of the Ghosts is long. This puts the E-Riot AM Essential right on trend. The remaining values from the geometry table also orientate this bike according to the zeitgeist and leave a really thought-through impression.
