At steep sections, the somewhat weak R Raymon motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The R Raymon Air Drive gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the AirRay 11.0 , because of its low range.

Carbon is considered a premium material in the bike industry. In the price range about 7000€, aluminium is usually the frame material used. With the carbon frame, R Raymon can clearly differentiate itself from many competitors. A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Dt Swiss chassis in the AirRay 11.0 hits. The mid-range brakes from Formula do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. R Raymon tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite R Raymon tires. For an All Mountain, we would prefer wider treads. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The combination of a slack head tube angle and long wheelbase makes the AirRay 11.0 remain steady even at higher speeds. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. On the scale, the AirRay 11.0 makes a good figure with 19,4 kg. Most All Mountains are significantly heavier.
