A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Fox chassis in the Contessa Patron eRIDE 900 hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the Shimano braking system decelerates fantasticly. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Scott uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.
