Scott Contessa Active eRIDE 930 Review

The Active Line Plus from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. At steep sections, the somewhat weak Bosch motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Bosch Active Line Plus gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Contessa Active eRIDE 930 with only an average range.

Good damping qualities are shown through the SR Suntour mid-range fork. In descending situations, the Shimano brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Scott uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Scott does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability.
